President Noah Butler called the meeting to order.
All rose for the Pledge of Allegiance.
Secretary Whitney McBride read the previous meeting minutes. President Butler accepted the minutes.
Halloween- The final plans for Halloween festivities have been made. A Community Haunted House will be held in the Ballroom for children of the community. A Trunk -n- Treat will also be held in the Student Center parking lot.Students who wish to participate may decorate the trunks of their cars and place candy in it. You can park your car ( trunk facing outward ) in the Student Center parking lot at 6:30 pm on Wednesday and head into the Student Center for the Costume Contest. A Costume Contest will be held for all Panola students. The costumes will be judged in the following categories: Scariest, Funniest, and Most Original. The winners of these categories will each receive a prize. All of these activities will take place from 7 pm to 9 pm on Wednesday evening.
*Decorating for Wednesday’s activities will begin on Tuesday evening. For anyone who is interested in helping with decorations for the Haunted House, meet in the Ballroom at 6:30 pm.*
The SGA will be taking a trip to Tyler on Monday to see the Shaolin Monks perform. The first 35 people will get in for free. If you wish to participate, everyone will be meeting in the Fitness Center parking lot at 6 pm to board the bus. We will leave by 6:15 pm!
The Green Jackets are still accepting applicants until October 31!
The SGA will be creating a Panola College float to participate in the Carthage Christmas Parade. This will take place on December 3rd. If you are interested in participating with this project contact Whitney McBride or Brianne Borders. All ideas are welcome!
President Butler made a notion to host a Bonfire on campus after the Carthage Christmas Parade on December 3rd. All were in favor, none opposed. More information to come!

The SMACC Club has cancelled the Halloween Dance for now. The dance may be rescheduled for a later time in November. More information will be posted when final plans are made.
The Media Arts Club announced that they will be hosting a Howl After Dark ( open mic night) . They are considering November 14th. More information to come!
Crystal Adams announced a “Fill The Bus” Food Drive that will run from October 29th until November 15th. Food will be collected in a designated area in the Cafe. More information about where to bring your donations soon!
